Tinder Just Launched a Podcast and We Actually Can't Wait to Listen

Anyone who's anyone has a podcast these days -- and Tinder wants a piece of the action.

Edison Research has found that around 21% of Americans older than 12 listen to a podcast at least once a month.

The company has just launched a branded podcast aptly titled DTR, short for Define the Relationship. Using actual dating data, the company hopes to corner the market for real-talk dating podcasts.

And it's bringing the big guns. Tinder's new podcast is hosted by Jane Marie, journalist and This American Life music supervisor. Topics will vary, but will mostly cover what it’s like to date in the era of apps, cellphones, and emoticons.

The first episode covers the dreaded online message we've all gotten: "Hey," and the likeliness of responses one may or may not get using this phrase as a dating app opener.

This actually sounds like an interesting idea and I'm always open to a new podcast about dating and sex. After all, none of us can get any worse at online dating.
