What Do Women Actually Want During Sex?
If you're anything like me and watch the 2000 Mel Gibson/Helen Hunt rom-com What Women Want every day, carefully scrutinizing all 127 minutes of the film looking for sexual advice, I have good news! A recent survey, carried out by fertility app Kindara, and reported on by The Independent, says that all women really want during sex is an emotional connection! Awesome. But raise your hand if you already knew that, because Mel Gibson movies teach you everything you need to know about life.
Of the 500 participants in the study, 53.2% said they yearn for a partner who they can really connect with, while only 4% care about novelty and variation. A leading factor for women turning down sex, however, is stress.
Hear that, guys? You're stressing out 39.2% of women with your petty bullshit. 11.8% of women agree that having young children around also impedes their sex lives, which really sheds some light on why my parents seemed so upset when I'd ask them to sleep in their bed.
The survey failed to mention the impact of wearing a dumb white hat during a sexual encounter, but we have to assume it's a bad idea. For shame, stock couple in our main image. For shame.
