No matter how patriotic, few dudes honor the founding fathers via their actual dress, with most only sporting ruffles on their shirts when they can't fit them all into their mouths. Show your pride, with Declaration.
From a pair of Beantown history buffs and
Harvard Stonehill grads (ha!), Declaration's a line of Revolutionary War-inspired tees aiming to "retell our national epic of a ragtag group of freedom fighters", so apparently they don't realize that Red Dawn's already being remade by MGM. First up's a grip of Ben Franklin shout outs including the black heather "Join, or Die" with the iconic broken snake, the indigo "Rings" displaying the first coin (designed by BF) issued by the US, and an all black crewneck with a framed side portrait of Ben from their "Founding Fathers Series", not to be confused with the History Channel's episode on Ben's bastards in their Finding Fathers series. Further American accoutrement comes via "The Broadside" with a Sons of Liberty poster depicting the coffins of the Boston Massacre's five victims, "The Green Dragon" with a turquoise print of the lodge that served as headquarters for the revolutionaries, and the horizontally slashed "Rebellious Stripes", whose parents are always worried about them rolling around with 8 balls
For cooler spring nights, Declaration's also got hoodies like one with a Revolutionary-era sundial coin above the phrase "Mind Your Business" -- a clear indication that even way back then, Americans were Wise.
