Churchill famously said that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it, which sucks, especially if you've got Mr. Stiles again. Ensuring you never forget "One if By Land, Two if By Sea", Declaration
From a couple of history buffs/former-roommates at Stonehill, Declaration's a draped-in-Old-Glory line of historically inspired tees that depicts classic Revolutionary War-era imagery and whose goal is to "use apparel to keep the stories and traditions of the American Revolution alive", though for tar & feathers, good luck on the Delicate cycle. Highlights include the black "Join, or Die" short-sleeve emblazoned with the famous broken snake political cartoon first inked in 1754; The Rings (an indigo crewneck featuring the first US-issued coin and its 13 interlocking rings which encircle the phrase "We Are One"); and a slimmer-fit heather grey tri-blend with five simple red horizontal stripes painted across the front, called the Rebellious Stripes, also the name of Jack White's new band, because, like, all of the members smoke cigarettes and stay out wayyy past curfew. More Hub-centric styles include The Green Dragon, a turquoise-on-natural tribute to the Revolution's iconic HQ impressed w/ the Franklin quote "There cannot be good living, where there is not good drinking"; and The Broadside, which depicts the coffins of those killed during the Boston Massacre above the words "On The Death of Five Young Men Who Were Murthered" -- proving yet again that nation building does NOT require spell check.
For cooler weather/covering your dome, Declaration also peddles the Time Flies peppered grey fleece zip-up hoodie w/ a Fugio sun dial coin graphic, and a scallop-hemmed hooded tee that "incorporates many elements symbolic of the Revolution", which you'd quickly recognize if you'd done better on those damn DBQs.
