Customization is great, but too many options can be overwhelming...seriously, how does Xzibit expect you to play Xbox and make popcorn while driving your LeSabre? You're just one man! For just the right amount of custom shirt, Hamilton Made to Order
Just launched at Apartment No. 9, M2M's a collab with Houston clothier Hamilton, a sort of middle ground between the full-on bespoke shirts they've made since the 1880s and the fresher, ready-to-wear lines unveiled this summer, which are a little more relaxed (seriously, they're totally down with women in the workplace!). Pick a shirt size and, after they adjust the neck and sleeve length, they'll solicit your preference on collar type (spread, button, etc.), pocket placement, and whether you want button or French cuffs, but not French Kuffs, because subtitles distract from how dreamy Christian Slater is. From there you'll thumb through books brimming with hundreds of seasonally updated fabric samples, from classic solids, to all manner of checks and plaids, to tuxedo-friendly ribbed models, though if you're wearing a tux, you can probably convince her you're too classy to have an STD
Once they have your specs, Hamilton'll turn your shirt around in two weeks, and because they aren't starting from scratch, the price point's significantly cheaper than other bespoke options, and that's not even including the cost of feeding the shark that inhabits the bed of your Forester.
