New flannels from an actual outdoorsman

Doing one thing well can make you rich and famous beyond your wildest dreams, though that does assume the tourists you're scaring from behind those bushes are extremely generous tippers. For a dude whose singular talent will benefit your wardrobe, check out Pladra, launching today.

From an outdoor-loving FIDM-alum Palo Alto-an who says "plaid" is his favorite color, Pladra does one thing and one thing only -- stitch together classic flannels (all made right here in SF) in 10 lumberjack-tastic colorways complemented by awesomely cheesy wild game-adorned liners for the collar, cuffs, and yoke, which was presumably borrowed from Blake Griffin. Only available online (as a way to keep prices low), the long-sleevers use original cuts in two styles: the heavier Leon (available in Captain Blue, Fog Grey, Old Green, Muddy Brown, and October Orange) sporting elbow patches made with washing machine-safe faux suede; and the medium weight Elli rock-able in Buckeye Blue, Prospect Red, Bruised Blue, Whiskey Brown, and Diggins Gold, a colorway that's definitely easy to pick. Each colorway comes paired with its own aforementioned outdoor scene lining, which range from fishing bears, to a wolfpack, to snow cougars, which can also be found in their natural habitat: Pete and Peters, ripping kamikaze shots.

The shirts also come with custom-made buttons adorned with Pladra's antler logo -- which's also stitched on the front left breast of your long-sleeve -- and soon they'll be rolling out other classic American heritage-inspired steez still like ear flap hats, work shirts, and hunting jackets, which're extremely useful when trudging through the World Famous Bush, Man.
