If you think riding on a skateboard is cool, you're probably 13, and will thusly be even more mind-blown when you realize
there are better things than dry humping there's a company called Eqo Optics making sunglasses out of them.
Currently raising cash via Kickstarter, EO sources discarded skateboard decks from skate shops to craft shades using a scroll saw to cut out the arms and front frames, then they put everything together, sand those puppies, and give them a smooth "salad bowl finish", also what it's called when vegetarian Luke Walton makes a layup. Each fitted with polarized Carl Zeiss lenses, the glasses come in two styles: the Wayfarer-like Sycamore, and the horizontally striped Alaskana made from multiple decks, making it essentially the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse of sunglasses.
Contributing various amounts of cash can get you everything from t-shirts and hoodies, to super special editions of the glasses, assuming, of course, that they, like your 13y-old self, can get over the hump.
