If you're not part of the 0.03 percent of the population who finds the airport lost-luggage situation "cleansing" and "freeing," you finally have a tool to prevent at least one horror of air travel. The Calypso Taglooks like a regular luggage tag — if a regular luggage tag looked gorgeous — and contains a low power Bluetooth chip that connects with your phone.
When you're gathered around the baggage claim, your smart phone will let you know when your luggage comes down the chute so you don't have to tensely search. And since it's Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, you can wait six months before changing the battery.
The tag has a range of 200 feet and the app will still remember its last location even when it's not in range. It comes in a bunch of colors so you can find a CalypsoTag that matches whatever rolling travel companion you've got.
