Ever wish your LEGOs would come to life, but you unfortunately aren't an engineer/LEGO Mindstorms genius? TinkerBots may be the next best thing. These building blocks actually integrate with your LEGOs, and allow you to make basic cars, animals, grabbing mechanisms, and more. All the shapes connect and are controllable without hours of wiring and soldering, which means they are perfect for kids or, let's be honest, adults with way too much playtime on their hands.
TinkerBots are powered by Power Brains, little cubes with Bluetooth and wireless connectivity and batteries. You can program their motion with your phone, and then let 'em rip, walk, roll, or whatever. TinkerBots is on the fast track to reaching it's Indiegogo goal, and full sets start at $125, with more complex sets getting up to $500. If you've been missing your old LEGOs like crazy, this may be the perfect way to get back into it.
