Instead of buying a camera and a waterproof case, the Watershot PROiPhone underwater housing lets you use your iPhone's considerable photographic capabilities below sea level (up to 60 meters) to take those epic surf pics on a budget.
This Smartphone Drone Case Lets You Take Photos & Videos From New Heights
To make a fully-enclosed touchscreen device work underwater, Watershot put physical buttons on the case that touch your phone's screen for you. Use the Watershot app to take photos since the buttons don't align with the normal camera app. Unfortunately, the process has a few snags. Since there's no button in the middle of the screen, you can't acknowledge that pesky low battery iOS notification without any special apps or jailbreaks, leaving you with 20 percent of a phone charge you can't use.
The snags notwithstanding, this is pretty cool setup, and it allows you to use different lenses and filters with your iPhone. This is key, because a red filter is apparently necessary when at a certain depth.
