The Miscellany

Produced by exactly who you'd expect -- a Sachse high-school teacher -- these acrylic & colored pencil works are based on both the Day of the Dead (e.g., the half-flesh, half-skeletal Calavera of Guadalupe), and eerie fairy tales, like Little Red, featuring Riding Hood with a gaze that's all dead-eyed seduction, and hair either like Farrah Fawcett's after a tornado, or Helena Bonham Carter's on a Tuesday, right before ladies' lunch.
