Bistro du Midi

Now open, BDM's completely renovated the old Excelsior into a rustic two-floor/two bar space elegantly apportioned with a fireplace, yellow/brown tones, and exposed wood beams. They're serving dishes like Pistachio-topped Rabbit Rillette and Beef Carpaccio w/ ginger bread croutons, as well as 1000+ wines and cocktails like the house-infused Tarragon Gin and lime-juiced Canadair, which is way more serious than a double-dare, and involves a ton of poutine.
