There's something seductive about glitzy Los Angeles -- namely Tara Reid, at night, to passing motorists. Man it's hard to find work out there! Take advantage of LA's newest tricked out quarters (...a hotel, not the kind Tara Reid fishes out of fountains), at BLVD. Located on historic Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, this just soft-opened suite-heavy boutique's rocking "elegant, but unfussy" accommodations above a full spa, an artfully designed bar, and a heated indoor pool, all with a vibe they describe as "minimalist, subdued Southwestern", which's also the name of an airline where passengers fly on IKEA seats, but're too mellow to assemble them. King and Queen suites are commodious, but the real deal's the 1250sqft BLVD Suite: a massive pad that sleeps six, rocks hardwood floors, a full kitchenette, an in-room bar, and a huge private patio that boasts a grill and view of the Hollywood Hills, meaning you can BBQ under the stars! And Ali Larter supposedly lives there too. At night, head downstairs to the black granite topped-bar and adjoining 35-seat lounge, where they're serving craft cocktails (all dreamed up by the dude who designed drinks for both the Golden Globes and MTV Movie Awards!) including the gin/ green tea liqueur/ mint leaves Sunset BLVD, and the vodka/ pomegranate mixer/ chocolate extract Robertson BLVD -- though they don't serve a Queens BLVD, as that requires a Chase-r. And because you'll have hopefully had too many, they also offer a free car service that'll take you anywhere within a two mile radius, which includes every place from Universal Studios to In 'N Out Burger, a business Tara Reid aspires to, minus the burgers.
