Flight delays are an unavoidable consequence of air travel, and if you're like the rest of us, you deal with them by taking a nap, reading a book, or grabbing a stiff drink.

If you're the cast members of two of the biggest musicals on Broadway, though, you do what comes natural: you challenge each other to an impromptu sing-off, which is exactly what the casts of Aladdin and The Lion King did when their flight to Orlando was delayed at New York's La Guardia Airport.

The folks from The Lion King busted out a rousing rendition of "The Circle of Life," while the dude who plays the Genie (James Monroe Iglehart) leads Aladdin's cast in a freestyle rap that gets the whole crowd jumping, before closing out the show with a group performance of "Arabian Nights." Sadly, though, they apparently missed the golden opportunity to bring down the house with "Prince Ali."

One of The Lion King's ensemble cast snapped the below group pic on Instagram before everyone boarded their flight... seven hours later.
