If you've ever dreamt of sailing to a galaxy far, far away with the likes of Han Solo and Princess Leia, that dream is about to become a reality. That is, if you define a galaxy far, far away as the Western Caribbean, and you're cool hanging at the pool with paid actors.

Disney Cruise Line has just announced the launch of “Star Wars Day at Sea,” a series of eight one-day events that’ll bring lightsaber-wielding Jedis, Stormtroopers, and other movie characters on board its Disney Fantasy cruise ship in 2016.

Along with hanging out with dudes pretending to be Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, there’ll be screenings of all six movies (or three, if you only count the good trilogy), a Jedi Training Academy where you can learn how to fight with pretend lightsabers ('cause, why not, right?), as well as a club with intergalactic-themed cocktails with names like "Princess Leia on the Beach" for grown-ups. Nothing sexier than a Star Wars-themed adult beverage.

Cruise-goers can also dress up if they like, so it’ll be kinda like Comic Con, except with an even bigger chance of catching some weird virus.

Leaving from Port Canaveral, the week-long Disney Fantasy cruise will make stops in Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, where you will definitely not want to be anywhere near Chewbacca. That guy's BO is out-of-this-world in the summer.

Keep your eyes peeled for the event, which takes place early next year on Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 6 and 20, Mar. 5 and 19, and Apr. 2 and 16, right here.
