You know that phrase "a bird's-eye view"? Well, turns out, that's actually the best way to see the world's tallest building -- you know, save for dangling from it like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible.
This past weekend, an eagle provided amazing aerials by gracefully diving from Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, fitted with a Sony Action Camera. You know, just a skydive of 2,722ft. No big deal. The eagle broke a world record for “highest bird flight from a man-made structure” without breaking a sweat. Because eagles don't sweat, do they?
After the flight, the bird's carrier signaled it with a flick of the wrist, and it soared down for smooth landing on the man's arm. Because that's just what eagles do.
This video is definitely the coolest thing an eagle's done on film since... well, since Frodo and company needed them in The Lord of the Rings. Check it out below.
