Watch This Fantastic Fox Make a Sandwich in Chernobyl

Published On 04/29/2015 Published On 04/29/2015

Chernobyl's open for tours these days, but the world's worst nuclear disaster remains a creepy, radioactive wasteland. There's not a lot of people, and it's almost expected animals like Blinky inhabit the area.

Like this hungry fox, who was recently filmed making an impressive, five-decker sandwich there. Radioactive repercussion, or just evolution? Hard to say. Everyone loves sandwiches.

A radio crew passing by the area supplied the fox with bread and meat, but forgot all about the mustard and ketchup. Of course, the fox made do with what it had (god, humans), and put together the sammie with its teeth, demonstrating some serious sandwich-making skills. As the saying goes, when life hands you bread and sausages, make a sandwich.

The fox wasn't available to give its recipe, but you get the gist from the video. And if you're spending time in Chernobyl, well, just add this fox sandwich to your list of sandwiches to eat before you die. Because that could be really soon.
