Hiking into a volcano is one thing. Jumping into one that's about to erupt, well, that's quite another.
Although, apparently, not for George Kourounis, a professional storm chaser, the intrepid host of the show Angry Planet, and an all-round insane dude; in reply to a colleague's challenge, he recently donned a heat suit and rappelled into the mouth of Marum Crater, a very much active volcano on Ambrym Island in the South Pacific Ocean.
In fact, it was so hot that his camera melted!

And of course, he took a volcano selfie.
