After competing in 17 Tour de Frances, pro cyclist George Hincapie decided it was time for a rest, which is why he headed to the Blue Ridge Mountain town Travelers Rest, and opened up a new cycling boutique, Hotel Domestique. That dude probably just walked into the lobby from the specially-designed bike storage room, complete with an in-house bike mechanic. This is where you will sit and relax when you are done cycling on the surrounding country roads and "peaceful hilltop countryside." It is also where you will sit and relax if you're too lazy to cycle. Sleeping is encouraged at Hotel Domestique, and they've got 13 individually-styled rooms with epic views to accommodate this activity. There's also a modern fusion bar/ resto/ cafe on premise called 17, which's either Hincapie's subtle way of reminding you why he deserves a rest/telling you to eat it.
