It's easy to be annoyed on an airplane. Everybody just paid hundreds of dollars to sit in an uncomfortable chair inside a metal tube for hours on end. Annoyances are amplified, tempers run hot, and patience is all too often in short supply.
But to find out exactly what pisses off passengers the most, flight comparison site Jetcost asked 2,500 British adults for their passenger pet peeves. Turns out, falling asleep on a stranger’s shoulder is the most common annoyance, with 65% of respondents saying they’ve witnessed or been a part of annoying nodding off (like this a-hole) within the last two years.
Dropping items from the overhead bin onto someone is the next worst habit -- a whopping 61% of passengers admitted they've been klutzes, or seen a klutz in person. Coming in third: arguing over their seat placements, with 54% of respondent replies. What the hell is wrong with people?
Other major annoyances included people farting or burping (49%), passengers drooling in their sleep (48%), and couples arguing (36%). Basically, the plot to a Kevin Smith movie, or when Kevin Smith tries to fly on Southwest.
Check out the the entire top 10 breakdown -- including the weirdly high 29% of people who walked in on other people in the bathroom. That's what the "Occupied" sign is for, idiots.
