Great news! Buying drugs in Mexico just got even easier.
In an act of brilliance and atypical prudence, the new terminal at Mexico’s Los Cabos International Airport is home to a brand-new pharmacy, chock-full of goodies like 800mg Ibuprofen, Xanax, Valium, and more. And we hear their pharmacists are as likely to ask for a 'scrip as a Señor Frog's bartender's likely to ask for ID.
Obviously you should have a prescription from a doc -- if you're caught with Mexico's (much cheaper) pharmaceuticals and no note to back up your bounty, US customs can seize your shopping and threaten you with between 10 months and 15 years in jail. MEXICAN jail. No bueno. But if you get away with it, you'll join the many fearless American tourists that prop up 70% of Mexican pharmacy business. Andale!
