Norway gets the world's sexiest passport

Thanks to a recent competition by the country's National Police Directorate, Norway's passport just got a game-changing new facelift that -- like when Shawn Michaels tossed Marty through a barber shop window -- puts all other nations' civil docs on notice.

The winning look, submitted by Neue Design Studio, is a triumph of minimalist aesthetics and pays homage to the country's closeness with nature while simultaneously looking all futuristic and slick as hell. Check out the hotness below.

From the front, the new passport's pretty bare-bones; they come in different colors for immigrants, diplomats, and citizens, but otherwise, not much else to report. But as you learned in every ABC afterschool special, while the outside may be slick, the important changes are always on the inside.

The inner pages display a stylish winterscape, which is pretty sweet in its own right, but gets totally trippy under the UV light of the Immigration kiosk; the landscape transforms into a dark night sky illuminated by the Northern Lights (see below).

The final concept will be adjusted and refined based on security and technical concerns, but the end result shouldn't stray too far from the original.

The design's incredible, but does raise a question: will it still be beautiful when it's covered up with customs stamps from Cancun?
