Watch This Octopus Attempt the Ultimate Prison Break

An octopus plotted a prison break that crossed The Shawshank Redemption with Animal Farm last week, when it climbed up the wall of its tank at the Seattle Aquarium, dangling its tentacles over the edge, and frightening onlookers in the process. Unfortunately, it didn't have the warden's bank account numbers and a map to Zihuatanejo to realize its dream.

The two-legged, six-armed sea creature sprung itself in front of scared adults and screaming kids, prompting staff to tuck the errant mollusk firmly back inside its cage, and seal it shut with a lid.
