Making the case that a picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to mobile hotel reviews, last-minute hotel-booking app HotelTonight's just rolled out Snap Your Stay: a crowd-source feature offering users a better glimpse inside each property by encouraging guests to take and post pictures in lieu of writing reviews. How's it work? Pretty simple: 1. Throughout the course of your stay, users engage in a "scavenger hunt"-style quest to snag six pictures of the space that range from the building's facade and lobby, to the room, bathroom, and one sweet shot of a favorite amenity, billed the "Cool Find". 2. If the camera on their iPhone 2G hasn't miraculously become awesome, they can use SYS's editing tools and light filter to pretty them up. 3. In addition to sharing the aforementioned photos on FB/Twitter in a veiled attempt to make friends jealous of their adventurous life, the uploaded images will also find their way onto the hotel's page in the app (or, if they're really good, the curated feed of top user-supplied pictures), which you can easily browse in order to make the most informed decision that an illiterate goon such as yourself could possibly hope to make.
