If you thought you'd heard the best news about Southwest earlier this year, when the airline's nicest flight attendants began serving up craft ale at high-altitude, guess again.
Things got even better this morning, when the airline's first international flight took to the sky from Baltimore to Oranjestad, Aruba. Yep, Southwest Airlines now flies overseas. And to celebrate, it's giving customers up to $200 off certain packages.
In addition to Aruba, the carrier is also servicing Jamaica's Montego Bay and Nassau/Paradise Island in the Bahamas, with more flights scheduled soon for Cancun and Los Cabos in Mexico, as well as Mexico City and the Dominican Republic's Punta Cana by November. International flights currently depart from Baltimore, Atlanta, and Orlando.
