Q: How many sumo wrestlers can fit on a plane?

A: 29, according to this series of tweets.

If you don't understand the joke, that's OK. Because really, it's not a joke. It's just a fact, after 29 massive men decided to challenge gravity (and probably the plane's weight limit) together. Apparently, these rotund wrestlers all belong to the same sumo stable in Tokyo, and were flying to rural Okinoshima in the Oki Islands for training camp, like a Japanese Major League, but with way less Corbin Bernsen and way more fat dudes.

Or something.

It's bad enough when you have to sit next to the really fat guy on the plane. But when you are the fat guy -- and so is everyone else -- that's just a recipe for discomfort. Not too many smiles in this coach class.

The scene appears a bit better on a bus than the plane. But is there even an aisle on the bus? And can you even imagine what starting and stopping that load must be like?

But of course, things got a lot rosier once the sumos had food in front of them. Those airline peanuts clearly weren't cutting it.
