Crazy beach raves, some of the world's best red light districts, and gorgeous white sand beaches give Thailand a reputation known the world round. But there's plenty of infamy to go along with that fame -- especially now that Thailand's been named the most adulterous country on the planet.
A report by statistics portal Statista tallied data from Match.com and The Richest to find the percentage of married men and women in the countries where they work who admit to infidelity. A staggering 56% of Thailand's married population admitted to extramarital affairs (and those are the just ones who 'fessed up!), while Danes cheat the second most, with 46% seeing other beautiful blondes behind their beautiful blonde partners' backs. Germany, land of sausages and Oktoberfest, came in third, with 45% of respondents admitting they hide the fact that they hide the sausage with someone else.
Europeans are unsurprisingly the worst offenders, accounting for nine out of the top 10 countries. But neither Italy (no. 4), known for Silvio "Bunga Bunga" Berlusconi, nor France (no. 5), where cheating is practically a requirement for election as president, secured the top spot.
