Even an oaf like you can publish magazine-worthy travel reviews

Based on the dual premise that travel is some of the most shareable content on social media and that online reviews generally look gross, Triptease is a slick web-based (and iPad) app that lets you create "sexy and shareable" magazine-quality reviews of places you've visited, without even having to call your buddy who's a graphic designer and makes those sweet letterpress invites for all of your parties

Before you jump right in, take a few minutes to explore the studio space by perusing beautiful pictures/reviews that've already been posted, all organized into one of three categories: Editor's Picks, People You Follow, or Popular

Not happy at all with those three search categories? Well, take a deep breath and calm down, 'cause you're in luck. You can also browse reviews based on thematic categories like "Big Cities", "Romance", and apparently places relating to Charlie Sheen, Tone Loc, and other "Wild Things"

Now that your toes are damp, you're ready to add a review. Simply type in the name of something upon which you're compelled to cast judgement/bestow accolades, be it New York City, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, or the La Quinta Inn in Des Moines, and add a handsome photo that you either shot or nicked off of the Internet

From here, you have 1200 words and complete design freedom -- adding headlines, repositioning pictures, choosing themes, and submitting a rating -- before you click "Publish"..

...and voila! A gorgeous, online magazine-styled review

Fun, right? Ready to write another one? Well hold up. As the premise of TT is based on creating shareable reviews, start posting that bad boy to FB, Twitter, and the works because you'll need three "Likes" before getting the green light to tell your friends how awesome the ice machine is at the Ames La Quinta.
