Sure, nothing draws attention quite like public nudity, but as Jerry Seinfeld once quipped, "There's good naked and there's bad naked".
Where cycling in the nude falls on the spectrum might very well still be up for debate.
Over the weekend, thousands of cyclists mounted their two-wheelers and rode Lady Godiva-style through the streets of cities across the globe (Portland, Melbourne, London, Guadalajara, etc.) in this year's World Naked Bike Ride. Held annually since 2004 in over 70 cities/20 countries, the clothing-optional rides are designed to raise awareness of the dangers facing cyclists and pedestrians, such as exhaust fumes, unsafe drivers, and the inevitable chafing/bruising that comes with riding a bike in the buff. Ok, we might've made that one up -- but it is a very real danger that deserves mention.
