Craigie on Main
26 Outdoor Dining Spots to Enjoy in Boston This Summer
Last summer, chef-owner Craigie on Main Tony Maws ingeniously pivoted by creating Craigie Next Door, an outdoor dining area in the adjacent parking lot. The al fresco joys continue this year, as the restaurant dishes up family-style meals that Maws cooks himself on the outdoor grills. You don’t get a choice in the day’s selection (vegetarians excepting), but with food this satiating, you’ll hardly be complaining. (Note: the restaurant will be closed throughout the month of August.)

The 16 Best Burger Joints in Boston
This is the burger, a first ballot hall-of-famer that changed the city’s patty game forever. Three cuts of beef, plus suet, bone marrow, and dehydrated miso, make up the meaty blend while a slab of Shelburne Farm Cheddar and a homemade mace ketchup finish things off. This beaut is as much deity as entree.
How to book: Reserve online.
These Boston Restaurants Are Open For Takeout This Holiday Season
Chef Tony Maws does not want you stressing during an already stressful season. His Hanukkah takeout menu for two is a cornucopia of classics, from latkes to salmon gravlax to chopped liver with traditional accompaniments. Just pay attention, because the menu changes somewhat each night, with a smoked and slow-roasted brisket on Thursday, Moroccan-braised lamb shanks on Friday and duck two ways on Saturday. Us, we have our eyes on the Saturday menu and the carrot cake that wraps up the meal.
How to order: $130 for package; order takeout via Toast
