Hôtel St. Germain Restaurant

If you consider wearing a jacket to dinner similar to dining in a cage, at least you'll have plenty of company in said cage, as men are required to wear a coat and tie at the restaurant at Hotel St. Germain, mostly because the place is pretty class, like, bedecked with crystal chandeliers, crystal glasses, and candles classy. Dinner is an $85 prix fixe and the menu rotates monthly, like when-it's-in-season Maine lobster tail on pasta they whip up in-house, with some olive oil-poached fennel and Sauce Americaine. For dessert, you might be lucky enough to snag the Paris-Brest with praline mousseline and hazelnut semifreddo in a chocolate cage, so, come to think of it, maybe being stuck in a cage isn't so bad after all...
