Sometimes names mislead: This Greenpoint restaurant/piano bar isn’t in Manhattan and it’s no inn—but who cares with cocktails so good? The front bar—all wood, stools and antique mirrors—is barnyard chic, yet the drinks scream uptown elegance. Classics and nostalgia cocktails are served alongside beers on ­tap. A circular backroom is the real charmer. The oval brick­walled space features a sunken stage where a whitewashed baby grand sits under a mossy chandelier. Diners sit in antique cinema seats for New American fare and regular live music (everything from Afghan drum circles to sepia­toned jazz). Weekend DJ dance parties bring the funk.
