This throwback smokehouse is right outside of Brackenridge Park and walking distance to the Japanese gardens and the San Antonio Zoo. You can’t go wrong with a two-meat plate (brisket and sausage is our rec) with some pinto beans and mac-n-cheese. Augie's also has a dope beer garden (perfect for washing down that brisket) and regularly hosts live music events.
