Not much has changed at Joe's over the past 40 years -- and that's what makes it one of the best burger joints around. It's the epitome of a dive (essentially a shack with bars on the windows) and that includes the kitchen. There's nothing fancy back there or inside their burgers. You're in for a simple, from-scratch patty at a price that hasn't changed much in 40 years either. With an old-fashioned burger this good, who needs gourmet sides?
