After a long closure during most of the pandemic, the Top of Binion's Steakhouse is once again welcoming guests. Perched on the 24th floor of Binion's Gambling Hall on the Fremont Street Experience, the restaurant dates back to 1965 when it was known as Top of the Mint, the signature dining spot at the The Mint hotel tower. The interior design is a throwback to an earlier era when the mob ran much of Las Vegas (including most of Downtown), but the real draw here is what's outside the dining room: spectacular valleywide views through dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy the atmosphere while feasting on signature dishes like charbroiled cuts of Dry-Aged Steak, Slow-Roasted Bone-In Prime Rib, and Poached Lobster served in a puff pastry with a creamy Newburg sauce. If the flambé presentation of the Baked Alaska seems a bit much, go with the Creme Brulée, torched lightly at the table.
