Just opened in East by a former Hong Kong ad-man -- who despite no formal grape-training whatsoever, decided to up-sticks & open a wine bar in Lyon -- this sophomore spot retains the original's wine list, decor, and even chefs, in a space blessed with large Victorian windows and a scrubbed oak floor. They've shipped over a full 3000 bottles of strictly Gallic vino -- some indeed up on the wall -- while food is similarly simple French bottle-bait, like scallops w/ parsley & herb, roasted duck breast (topped w/ orange zest, paprika & honey), and hefty steak ongelots.
