Bugatta Restaurant and Bar

Los Angeles

After shutting down her old spot The Bungalow Club after 10 years, Anat Escher gave it an extreme makeover, and has recreated the space as Bugatta, an "elegant yet casual" resto/bar/lounge featuring dark metallic leather booths inside, and outside, cabanas, bamboo chairs, and mood lighting, which hopefully isn't set to "bad". The shared plates menu's got smalls like crab cakes with corn mango salsa, filet mignon skewers with cherry tomatoes/red wine demi-sauce, and sushi, while the Val Kilmer-sized dishes include pan-roasted chicken with sweet potato puree & caramelized onions, and King Salmon, which is kind of a bold nickname for a dude who never made an All-Star team in 14yrs in the bigs.
