db's slashing prices like a mattress store, only without the incessant yelling, and mattresses, by making its newly expansive bar menu half-off from 5-8p daily. Small plates include everything from Peruvian ceviche to a crispy house-cured pork belly, while drinks now involve a larger selection of whiskeys along with chilled sakes, $3 brews like Brooklyn IPAs, and cocktails including the Michter's US1 Rye/ bruleed banana/ OJ/ lemon juice "Monkey's Uncle" -- also a game where Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork played music until the other one just couldn't take it anymore, and tapped out.
