This Montreal spot is the result of a collaboration between British chef Jamie Oliver and his former sous chef Derek Dammann. The two opened Maison Publique in October 2012, with the goal of replicating a typical British gastropub (hence the name, which translates to public house, for which "pub" is short) with a French-Canadian twist on the food. The menu follows suit, offering dishes like Welsh rarebit, foie gras fumé, Delmonico steak, and more.
