Because the desert is a bit hot and looks wayyy too much like Arizona, the folks at Wang's decided to open a sister resto to their Palm Springs joint in the cavernous confines of a 15000sqft North Park spot that sat vacant for three years, until it listened to that Beyonce song and got upgraded with a sprawling wraparound bar, and authentic bamboo flooring/ sweet tree sculptures to evoke their "tree-theme", which actually doesn't seem h-oaky at all.
