These DC Restaurants Are Open For Takeout This Holiday Season
Chef Harper McClure and the team at Mintwood Place are staying open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day by offering two deals. On Christmas Eve, the three-course, $50 menu includes a choose-your-own-adventure prix-fixe, as well as a special $55 holiday beef short rib package for takeout. In addition, Chef McClure will also offer a prime rib of beef special served with Yorkshire pudding and potato gratin for dining-in or carryout. On Christmas Day, from 11 am to 3 pm, McClure is serving a dine-in only brunch with festive dishes including steak and eggs with pommes frites and a duck confit hash with Yukon gold potatoes, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. The brunch specials will be served on Christmas Day in addition to Mintwood Place’s regular brunch menu.
