Cycle-In Cinema

Venue Info

The first in a series to be scattered throughout London later in the year, this Sunday's free screening of The Princess Bride at Hackney City Farm will actually be powered by at least 10 volunteer cyclists (all others can be seated), whose wheels will be hooked up to a genny. There'll be booze & "local snacks" on sale, and you're encouraged to bring a radio, as the soundtrack will be broadcast on a shortwave FM signal -- the most inconceivable such broadcast since Argentina invaded the Falklands.
