Find the sign of a defunct pub that reads “Mittelpunkt Gaststätte” on Sanderstraße, disregard the boarded-up windows, and head inside the Black Lodge, which looks like a classic speakeasy until you enter its back room that channels David Lynch and the '90s, sporting red velvet curtains and a zig-zag-patterned floor straight out of <em>Twin Peaks</em>. Party like it's 1990 inside this throwback space with a strong Dutch beer or the signature espresso martini, which makes for an excellent 2am pick-me-up.
