(Currently closed for renovations) DTLA’s Back Door Pub is a hard to find, hole-in-the-wall dive bar in the alley behind The Milner Hotel. Back Door boasts all of the the dive bar requisites -- billiards, beer, cocktails, and a juke box. The walls are lined with vintage photographs of the surrounding neighborhood, the food on offer is scattered but somehow makes sense, with items like personal pizzas and ham and cheese sandwiches, empanadas and egg rolls, and hummus and quesadillas. At Back Door Pub, you’re always in good company. Plus, the popcorn is free.
