One of Glendale’s oldest bars, Dave’s on Broadway is a dark dive in an unassuming, cement building -- the oversized neon sign above its entrance the sole indicator of any activity inside. On any given night, Dave’s features karaoke, cheap drinks, and TVs for the sports-loving patrons. The bar is dim, illuminated only by small, vintage light fixtures and a string of Christmas lights, year round.
