You'll catch lots of locals hanging out on the expansive outdoor patio at Tchoup Yard in Irish Channel, drinking specialties like the Bushwacker (a Corona tipped upside down in a frozen marg), rosé on tap, and both craft and domestic beer on draft. Rows upon rows of colored twinkle lights, picnic tables, and umbrellas give it the cheery feel of a backyard summer party, despite being tucked behind one of Tchoupitoulas Street’s not-so-cheery warehouses. You can fill up on snacks from a rotating roster of food trucks and pop-ups while you're here, too.
