This stately winery is built into a hill in sleepy, rural Lowden, a town about a four hour drive from Seattle. Operating out of a manse-like facade (it's actually a schoolhouse, hence its name), this family-run winery that's been open since 1983 is home to a curated batch of terror-driven wine that's known for its high quality.
