The BBQ Joint’s 14th Street location has a late-night Frito pie window, open at the exact right hours: Fridays and Saturdays from 12-3am. But that’s not to say The BBQ Joint is only worth visiting then. Chef/owner Andrew Evans boasts outstanding ribs, which he hopes remind people of the fictional Freddy’s BBQ Joint from House of Cards. Definitely share a rack, but don’t ignore the pulled pork, brisket, and standout sides like candied yams and cornbread. At the bar, you'll find $10 cocktails, great wines, and cans of Natty Boh.
