Blue Sky Bakery & Cafe socially conscious bakeshop and coffee house in North Center specializing in baked goods, sandwiches, and coffee, and dedicated to positive social change within the community. The nonprofit cafe initiated the Blue Sky Employment Program, which provides transitional employment to the at-risk youth and homeless populations in Chicago to promote self-sufficiency among the employees, and to raise community awareness. Even just one cupcake or cup of coffee, or a slice of quiche or pie, is an edible donation in favor of supporting those in need in your community.
