Saint Rocco's New York Italian
This corner space at Trinity Groves serves up pizzas, pastas, and braised meat dishes in a cool, clubby atmosphere reminiscent of a Rat Pack hideaway. Strawberry arugula, beef filet, and veal milanese are just some of the inspired selections.

There aren’t many places in town where you can scarf down a bowl of pasta while gazing out at the Downtown skyline and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. But that’s what you get at Saint Rocco’s. The fun-loving Italian-American eatery houses a third-floor bar that’s open Fridays and Saturdays from 5 pm to 11 pm, with a late-night happy hour beginning at 9 pm. Linger over a bottle of wine, lounge on the white South Beach-style couches, and then jockey for position along the railing to take that mandatory sunset selfie.
Saint Rocco’s takes its inspiration from its founders Italian-American roots and family dinner tables. The decor is anchored by wall-to-wall vintage photos, and the menu sports classics like Linguini and Clams, Shrimp Scampi, and Spaghetti and Meatballs. If you’re willing to climb a few stairs after all that food, the third-floor deck offers prime views of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and downtown skyline.
